SUPERVISOR FOR FIT-OUT/INTERIOR SOLUTIONS IN RETAIL AND HOSPITALITY PROJECTS

RIIS Retail is expanding its rapidly developing global business with great potential. Therefore, we are looking for a dedicated installer for our project department in US. As one of the world’s leading companies for high-quality experiential architecture in the retail sector, RIIS Retail delivers turnkey shopfitting solutions for more than 500 retail spaces, shop-in-shop solutions, trade fairs, bars, and restaurants annually from a single source. We operate globally in more than 45 countries and have many years of experience in many production areas of the retail market.

Our goal is to develop solutions that deepen our clients’ brands and thus expand their commercial capabilities.

The advertised position is full-time and remote. Travel is approximately 175 days per year. This includes weekend shifts. Weekend work and overtime will be compensated for with time off in consultation with the superior.

YOUR TASKS

    • Supervision of assembly teams on-site
    • Assembling retail stores (on-site)
    • Daily dialogue and communication with colleagues in the office – primarily with the project manager
    • Quality assurance and documentation of furniture and construction work
    • Receiving and transporting materials on the construction site
    • Regular warehouse visits at our Burlington, NJ location supervising packing and quality control.
    • Planning your own work and that of colleagues

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

    • Trade training, e.g., as a joiner, carpenter, joiner, or similar
    • Good written and spoken English skills

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

    • You can work independently and are well-organized
    • You conduct yourself professionally and are service-oriented
    • You can work under a high degree of stress
    • You are flexible regarding working hours
    • You are a competent, imaginative, solution-oriented craftsperson
    • If you already have experience in assembling retail spaces, this is an advantage.

Office equipment, assembly tools are provided by the company. A company car is optional.
