Project Manager at RIIS Retail – Create relationships, unique solutions, and experiences across the US and Canada.
Are you passionate about project management and comfortable serving as a link between clients, design, and interior design? At RIIS Retail, you will be given a key position where you will lead and drive exciting retail and hospitality projects. You understand how to build strong relationships with both clients and external partners. Working closely with great colleagues from all over the world, you will ensure the delivery of tailor-made interiors and furniture of the highest quality.
As a Project Manager at RIIS Retail, you will be responsible for managing and implementing projects from start to finish. You will work closely with international partners – this requires the ability to build and maintain stable and sustainable relationships. In addition to ensuring that design and interior design meet client expectations, you will also coordinate the delivery and implementation of furnishings and furniture – a central component of our projects.
Your tasks:
- Project and construction management: Ensure the entire process runs smoothly and the quality meets our standards.
- Time and cost management: Adhere to deadlines, budgets, and financial constraints.
- Relationship management and customer service: Build and maintain strong customer relationships. Be their sparring partner and ensure they feel heard and understood throughout the project.
- Interior and furniture coordination: Work closely with designers, buyers, and suppliers to ensure accurate delivery and implementation.
- Negotiations and contract management: Conduct contract negotiations and find solutions that help everyone involved succeed.
- International projects: Network across all US states and build a solid network of contractors and suppliers.
What you bring:
- Completed training as a project manager or construction manager, ideally with a trades background.
- Experience in project or construction management and a deep understanding of construction processes.
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of dialogue with customers.
- Structured, decisive work style with solution-oriented thinking.
- Experience or interest in coordinating furniture and furnishings within construction projects.
- Enjoyment of complex tasks and a proactive approach.
- Experience of working in an international setup, cooperating with teams in different time zones and countries.
- Willingness to travel and further develop your planning, leadership, and negotiation skills.
