TRANSFORMATION OF AN OLD INDUSTRIAL UNIT
In April 2023, Rocket Padel opened the UK’s largest indoor padel center, significantly the most advanced in the UK.
RIIS has helped Rocket Padel transform the old 5.300 m2 industrial unit that has stood empty for three years into a brand new padel facility. Emphasis has been placed on functionality while making the padel venue aesthetically pleasing.
FLEXIBLE SPACES
The facility consists of social spaces with +40 seats, spectator areas with court’s view, a cozy lounge and café area, a well-assorted shop to purchase equipment, an on-site meeting room, and heated locker rooms. Regarding sports facilities, Rocket Padel Bristol houses twelve doubles courts and two dedicated singles courts of which four have audience stands for exhibition and tournament matches.
THE CITY OF BRISTOL
The new Padel venue in Bristol, the largest and most populous city in the Southwest region of England, is making it a perfect location for the facility – as it is also strategically located for easy access by car, bus, and bike.
A CLOSE COLLABORATION
RIIS took pride in handling the extensive reconstruction of the building; designing the venue, and supplied all the furniture, which ended up with a premier indoor facility.
